The first movement needs to be slower, to around 70 bpm. I want to hear that counterpoint! Though the audio quality will be horrible, setting the playback speed to 0.75 will allow you to experience it as this tempo, that is, around 70 bpm.

So happy I got the opportunity to play this in 7th grade. Still one of my favorite concerts I've ever given.

I don't get why people hate this piece so much, *especially* the 4th movement. Is it a wild, chaotic ride that frequently surprises and jostles you around? Yes. And that's exactly what makes it great.
